Meet theStags
General: Kathleen Early returns for her second season
with the Stags, and will compete for time in net.
Off The Field: Early is undecided on her major.
2011: Early did not see any game action during her freshman season as part
of a talented quartet of keepers, including graduate assistant coach Kelly
Boudreau.
High School: Early earned a pair of varsity letters at Kellenberg Memorial,
where she missed her senior season due to injury. Over the course of her
career she was named team MVP and earned the squad's Most Committed
award, while serving as team captain in her final three years of high school.
Personal: Kathleen Early is the daughter of Maureen and Thomas Early. Her
older sister, Elizabeth, played soccer at Holy Cross, and she has a younger sis-
ter, Bridget, and two younger brothers: Kevin and Thomas.

General: Erin Pettersen returns for her second season
with the Stags midfield. She missed most of her rook-
ie season with an injury, seeing action in four career games.
Off The Field: Pettersen is undecided on her major.
2011: Pettersen played in four games over the first month of the season for the
Stags before suffering an injury that kept her out of the lineup the remainder
of the campaign.
High School: Pettersen earned three varsity letters at Kellenberg Memorial,
despite missing her senior season with injury. She led the team to a 2008
CHSAA semifinal appearance. Pettersen was a six-year member of the ODP
ENY Team, earning a spot on the Region I team in 2009. As a freshman at
Kellenberg she was her team's leading scorer, a team captain, and took the
squad to the CHSAA Championship Game.
Personal: Erin Leigh Pettersen is the daughter of Mary and Kevin Pettersen and
is the youngest of three sisters that have all played collegiate soccer - Kelly at
Providence and Elizabeth at Iona.

General: Kasey Schulz was selected as a team captain
for the Stags in 2012. She has played in both the mid-
field and as a forward over the course of her career with the Stags, appearing
in 60 games and receiving starting nods on 45 occasions. Schulz begins her
final campaign with 14 points on her resume with three of her six career goals
being of the game-winning variety.
Off The Field: Schulz is a Marketing major. She has been a member of the
Department of Athletics 3.0 Club in each of the last four semesters. As a soph-
omore Schulz lived in the Leadership Living and Learning Community.
2011: Schulz appeared in all 19 games for the Stags, with 11 starts, during her
junior campaign. She finished with a pair of goals, netting the game-winning
tally in the Stags MAAC win at Canisius. Schulz scored her first goal of the sea-
son at Harvard.
2010: Schulz appeared in all 20 games, with 15 starts, for the Stags during her
sophomore season. She finished the campaign with two goals, both of which
were game-winning tallies. Schulz' first tally came in the August 27 home open-
er versus Binghamton. She would also net the decisive tally in the October 17
MAAC win at Rider.
2009: Schulz appeared in all 21 games the Stags played her rookie season,
with 19 starting nods. She finished the year fifth on the team with six points
and a rookie-best two assists. The first goal of her career came in the MAAC
opening win over Iona, with her second coming at Niagara on October 23 - the
first game-winning tally of her collegiate career. Schulz' first collegiate point
was an assist at Seton Hall, and she added her second in the next contest, a
win over San Jose State.
High School: Schulz earned four varsity letters in soccer at Newtown High
School. She finished her scholastic career with 70 goals, 17 coming during her
senior campaign, when she was selected a team captain. Schulz was named
All-New England and All-State following both her junior and senior seasons.
Personal: Kasey Lynn Schulz is the daughter of Donna and Alain Schulz. She
has two sisters.
