2011: Caffrey played in 16 games throughout
the season, the most in one season for her thus far. She earned two
starts against both Siena and Lehigh. In her junior season, the Stag
took four shots, two of which were on goal. 2010: Caffrey enjoyed a
successful sophomore season participating in 15 games off the bench
while moving into a starting position three times in their season open-
er against Westchester, the home opener versus Lehigh and then
again against Siena. She had a goal in the Stags 5-2 win over Brown.
Caffrey provides depth to the Stags forward position as a top reserve.
2009: Caffrey came off the bench in 10 games last season, eight of
which were against non-conference opponents. The midfielder gained
entry in the first four games of the season before missing the Hofstra
game. She played in six of the final 13 games, including four straight
games against Lehigh, Maine, Yale, and New Hampshire. She provid-
ed strong support at the midfielder position, spending most of her time
in a defensive role. Before Fairfield: Caffery played four seasons for
Thayer Academy in
Massachusetts. While at
Thayer, Caffery received
the
team's
Best
Offensive Player award
and earned a spot on
the Independent School
League Honorable men-
tion team. She was the
team's top scorer as a
junior and as a senior.
She earned 12 varsity
letters over her four-year
stay at Thayer Academy.
She served the tennis
team as its captain, and
captured the team's
Most Valuable Player
award. The team won
the Independent School
League Championship
during her senior year,
as Caffery played num-
ber one singles and
number one doubles.
Caffery participated in
Futures, and competed
in the National Field
Hockey Festival during the 2008 campaign. Outside the classroom,
Caffery was a four-year honor roll student, and served her class as a
member of the student council for three years.
2011: Keller played in nine games in her sopho-
more campaign, with one start against Lehigh.
2010: Keller followed a successful freshman campaign in the midfield
starting all 19 games for the Stags finishing with one assist in their 5-
2 win over Brown. Keller
played a pivotal role for
the Stags on both ends of
the field but primarily
caused havoc for the
opposing offense. She will
be a key returner in the
midfield for the 2011 sea-
son. 2009: Keller made
her collegiate debut at the
University of Connecticut
in the season opener. She
went on to play in 16
games and gained her
only
start
against
Villanova. She missed her
only game of the season
against Boston University.
Keller patrolled the mid-
field in her rookie season,
playing primarily an offen-
sive role. She used her
speed to set the offense,
especially from the side
lines. She was a key play-
er inside the circle, taking
three shots on goal. She
offered two attempts
against Ball State and
another shot in the
Villanova game. Before
Fairfield: Keller comes to
Fairfield University after a
successful career at Garden City High School. She was a member of
both the field hockey and lacrosse teams which captured three state
championships. She finished her career with 20 goals and 18 assists
as a field hockey player, which helped her garner All-County and All-
State honors. As a junior, Keller tallied five goals and six assists, before
improving on those numbers as a senior with nine goals and eight
assists. She served her teammates as a team captain during her sen-
ior campaign. Keller also was a member of the Elite Futures Program
and attended the National Futures Tournament.
