2011: Loor played and started all 17 games on
defense. In the Stags' matchups against Siena
and Radford, Loor and the defense kept each team to just two shots
on goal in the entire game. Another big outing for Fairfield's defense,
led by Loor, was against Lehigh University in which the back half pre-
vented the Mountain Hawks from taking a single shot in the first half.
2010: Loor played in 12 contests for the Stags including the first five
of the season. She saw action in conference play against Boston
University, Vermont. Loor also was a key reserve in their games
against Hofstra, Brown, St. Joe's, Georgetown, and Cal. 2009: Loor
became a regu-
lar in the lineup
as a freshman,
securing time in
14 of the team's
17 games. She
appeared every

East game. She
came off the
bench for her
first 13 games
before
being
inserted into the
starting lineup
in the season
finale against
Vermont. A solid
defender, Loor
split time as a
midfielder and
as a defender.
She was also a

ended the season with five shot attempts, three of which came in her
start against Vermont. She also added a shot at Columbia and
against Brown. Before Fairfield: Loor joins the Stags field hockey
team after a successful career at Sachem East High School. She was
a four-year letterwinner with the field hockey program. During her stay
at Sachem East, Loor anchored the team's defensive efforts. She
played two seasons at the National Futures Championship (2007 and
2008), as well as the 2007 Junior Olympics.
2011: Sposito returned as the starting goal
keeper, playing in 13 games throughout the sea-
son and starting 11. She tallied
879:28 minutes in the net
allowing 26 goals. Sposito fin-
ished the season with a 2.08
goals against average with 59
saves. In her junior campaign,
the Stag owned a record of 7-6
with two shutouts against
Sacred Heart University and
College of Holy Cross. In the
team's matchup against
Albany, Sposito had a season-
high 12 saves. She ranked as
high as 10th nationally with a
goals against average of 1.27
the week of 9/26. The starting
goal keeper for Fairfield also
finished with a save percent-
age of .694. 2010: Sposito
worked her way into the start-
ing goal keeper position after
seeing action in just two games
last season. She played in 17
starting 16 games for the
Stags while allowing just 37
games in over 1100 minutes of
play. Sposito earned a 2.32
goals against average after
making 110 saves for a .748 save percentage. Sposito had two double
digit saves games with her season high coming against America East
foe Boston University where she had 12, and then the Stags' 4-1 victo-
ry over St. Joe's where she stopped 10 shots. Sposito will enter her jun-
ior campaign as the most experienced goal keeper for the Stags.
2009: Sposito appeared in two games as a rookie goalkeeper, starting
and playing the first half against Yale University and more than 53 min-
utes in the University of New Hampshire game. She made seven saves
in her two appearances, securing two against Yale and five versus New
Hampshire. The goalkeeper finished the campaign with a .500 save
percentage and a 5.53 goals against average. Before Fairfield: Sposito
attended Ridgefield High School where she played field hockey, ice
hockey, and softball. In 2008, Sposito made 147 saves and posted
nine shutouts in 15 games. The goalkeeper allowed 0.84 goals per
game as a senior. In her freshman campaign, Sposito earned All-FCIAC
(Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Association) honorable men-
tion accolades in softball. As a junior, she was recognized in all three
sports with All-FCIAC honors in field hockey (honorable mention), ice
hockey (honorable mention), and softball (second team). She capped
her senior season with All-FCIAC honors in field hockey (first team), ice
hockey (first team), and softball (second team). Sposito was All-State
in field hockey as well.
