8 2012 Stags Field Hockey
2011: Fitts played and started 16 of the possible
17 games throughout her sophomore campaign.
She was a leader on the field with both her speed and stick skills. Fitts
has continued to make and impact and is an extremely versatile play-
er. 2010: A walk-on to the 2010 team, Fitts made an immediate
impact despite being injured playing in 15 games making her debut in
the Stags' season opener against Westchester. She proved to be a top
reserve in the midfield as she finished with two goals on 16 attempts.

on both ends of the field
coming off the bench
while earning her first
career point in just the
second game of the sea-
son in Fairfield's close 2-
1 loss to Dartmouth.
Before Fairfield: Fitts
competed four years at
Archmere Academy. She
captained the field hock-
ey team which went 14-
1-1 en route to a
Diamond
State
C o n f e r e n c e
Championship for the
second time in her four-
year campaign. Fitts also
earned Diamond State
All-Conference Player
recognition in each of
her last two seasons.
Fitts was a successful
soccer and basketball
player as well, winning
five more conference
championships; two in
soccer (2008, 2009)
and three in basketball
(2007-2008,
2008-
2009, 2009-2010). She
earned Diamond State
All-Conference Player honors in soccer (2008, 2009) and in basketball
(2009-2010), while capping off her basketball campaign with the
2009-2010 Player of the Conference Award.
2011: McLucas started 16 games in her sopho-
more campaign finishing with four points, all of
which were from assists. The Stag tied for the most assists on the
team and took the majority of corners for the Stags. 2010: McLucas
celebrated a successful freshman campaign playing in 17 out of the
Stags' 19 games while making the starting lineup in six, the second
most starts as a freshman. McLucas earned her first start against
America East foe University at Albany. In her second consecutive start,
McLucas earned her first career point with an assist in the Stags' 4-1
win over St. Joseph's. Before Fairfield: McLucas played internationally
with the GHK Club team, a program which is a top six team in
Scotland's highest domestic league. She also played on Scotland's U-
20 team, as well as the U-18, and U-16 district teams, she was the
youngest member of the U-20 team when selected. McLucas also was
team captain of the field hockey team at Kelvinside Academy. She was
selected to the U-21 training squad.
