General: Casey Grace begins her first sea-
son as her Stag. The junior college transfer
brings length and versatility to the lineup.
She plays a European style of play in the post and is improving on her
back-to-the-basket game. She can also handle the ball and distribute
to teammates.

General: Lizzy Ball begins her first season
as a Stag. Ball will share the responsibili-
ties at the point. A hard-nose competitor,
Ball likes the physical game both offensively and defensively. She has
good instincts in terms of getting her teammates involved and her

bulldog’ style of play is infectious.
Before Fairfield: Spent the 2011-12 season at the New Hampton
School where she averaged 12.7 points, 8.3 assists, and 7.2 rebounds
per game en route to All-New England Prep School honors … Earned
five varsity letters at Manchester-Essex Regional High School where
she averaged 18.7 points per game and was a 1,000 point scorer …
Also lettered in field hockey and lacrosse at Manchester-Essex.

guard is a deep three-point shooter adding
another weapon to the Stags’ game beyond the arc. A bright and
heady player who is a perfect complement to the Stags backcourt.

graduating as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,685 points

Named the Rockland County Player of the Year as a sophomore, a
junior, and a senior by the Journal News … Chosen as the 2012 NYS
Class A Player of the Year after averaging 16.7 points and 1.8 three-
pointers per game … A three-time First Team All-State selection … A
four-time All-League selection … Helped the Pirates to a pair of sec-
tional titles … A member of the National Honor Society and SADD.

General: Kristin Schatzlein remains in her
home state of Connecticut to begin her col-
legiate career. At six-feet, Schatzlein brings
length and height to the backcourt and can play all three positiions. A
very good scorer and yet possesses the ability to see the floor and has
a knack for making the right pass.
Before Fairfield: Earned four varsity letters at Tolland High School
where she scored more than 1,700 points and was named
Connecticut’s Gatorade Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year … Served
as team captain for three seasons … Averaged 18.6ppg, 9.2rpg,
