Meet TheStags
General: Felicia DaCruz is in her second season in the Stags back-
court, where she’s utilized her mainly at the point. She has the ability
to penetrate and finish in traffic, as well as hit from beyond the arc. An
unselfish player, DaCruz has a knack for seeing the entire floor and
finding her open teammate, and will have an opportunity to compete
for significant minutes immediately.
Freshman Year (2011-12): Appeared in 28 games with three starts in
first season as a Stag ... Averaged 7.4 minutes and 1.2 points per
game with 19 rebounds in 11 assists on the year ... Tallied four points
and three assists in 15 minutes in MAAC Championship Quarterfinal
against Iona ... Notched six points and went 4-for-8 from the free throw
line against St. Peter’s ... Posted three points against Rider ... Had a
rebound in four minutes of action against No. 2 UConn ... Had a pair
of free throws in three minutes at LaSalle ... Checked into the St.
Francis game, to record a rebound, an assist, and a made free throw
...
Had four points and four rebounds at Vermont ... Finished with five
points, three rebounds,

Pacific ... Started first colle-

Before Fairfield: Earned
four varsity letters at
Albertus Magnus High
School, where she led the
squad to 81 wins in that

points, a 10.4 point per
game average … As a sen-
ior, DaCruz was named
Second Team All-State and
earned Rockland County Female Athlete of the Season, after scoring

points per game and leading the team in assist … DaCruz helped
lead the Falcons to a Section I title as a sophomore, while advancing
to the Class A semifinals in each of her four seasons … She also let-
tered in soccer and played for the Lady Knicks AAU team.
