2011: Leo made her freshman debut against St.
Joseph's in the Stags' first game of the season.
She played in 14 games throughout the year starting two against
cross-town rival Sacred Heart and conference foe Vermont. Her
aggressiveness on the front half earned her more and more playing
time as the season progressed. Leo will continue to add tremendous
depth on offense in the 2012 season. Before Fairfield: Leo had a suc-
cessful career at Crestwood High School. The forward lists an exten-
sive resume that includes experience at the local, regional, and nation-
al level. She helped Crestwood reach the PIAA State semifinals in
2010 after winning the District 2 championship. She earned four var-
sity letters at Crestwood High School, and received berths to the All-
State team as well as the Academic All-State squad. Leo also partici-
pated in the Keystone Games where she won three silver medals
(2009, 2007, 2006) and two bronze medals (2008, 2005). On the
national scene, Leo played National Futures in 2008. In 2010, she
played at the USFHA NIT U-19 with the Valley Styx and at the USFHA
Disney Showcase with Team CNY. She collected a spot on the NFHCA
National Academic Squad in her senior season as well. Leo was also a
standout on the track, as she earned three varsity letters and qualified
for Districts in the 100m, 200m, and 4 x 100m relay. Off the field, Leo
was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National
Honor Society. She was named the Crestwood High School's Student
of the Year for 2005-06.

2011: Heinen had an exceptional rookie season,
making an immediate impact. She was a 2011
Longstreth All Mid-East Region Second Team selection, a member of
both the America East All-Rookie Team and the America East Second
Team. She earned two Rookie of the Week awards throughout her
debut season as well as excelled in the classroom earning a spot on
the 2011 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team.
Heinen had her first collegiate start in the Stags' opening game
against St. Joseph's and netted her first goal against Drexel in the sec-
ond game of the season. Throughout the year, she posted three game
winners against Radford University, Lock Haven, and Lehigh University.
In Fairfield's matchup against Radford, Heinen posted two goals to
give the Stags the 2-1 victory. Her first Rookie of the Week award
came after a 2-0 win over Lehigh where she took eight shots through-
out the game, resulting in a game-winning goal. Her second Rookie of
the Week award came after a huge 2-1 victory over conference foe
Vermont in which Heinen posted the tying goal to make the score 1-1.
She finished her rookie season second on the team with 16 points
breaking down to six goals and four assists, just four points shy of the
team-high. Before Fairfield: Heinen was a member of the Muenchener
field hockey club was plays in the Bundesliga League, which is consid-
ered to be the best amateur league in Germany. Her team reached the
top spot in that league in 2010. She has played internationally as well,
playing for the state select team (Vavaria) as well as for the U-21 and
U-16 national teams.

2011: Wickles jumped into the Fairfield lineup
right off the bat, playing in all 17 games in her
freshman debut. She tallied six points for the Stags with two goals and
two assists. One of her goals was a game-winner against the College
of Holy Cross, in a 1-0 victory. Wickles is a versatile player for Fairfield
with exceptional speed. Before Fairfield: Wickles had a stellar career
at Smith Academy, where she finished her career with 121 goals. She
was the third player to reach 100 goals in Smith Academy history. The
forward was the top scorer in the state of Massachusetts following her
junior and senior seasons. She served as the team captain in her sen-
ior year. She earned All-League honors in 2007, 2008, and 2009, and
also made the All-Scholastic team in those same campaigns. Plus,
Wickles collected berths to the
Hampshire Gazette
All-Star team in
2008 and 2009 as well as Super Seven team and the Republican All-
Star squad in 2010.
