12 2012 Stags Field Hockey
Before Fairfield: Connors enjoyed a solid career
at Manhasset High where she was team captain
in her senior campaign for the field hockey team. In her final season,
Connors was an All-County Selection and an Academic All-American.
In 2010, she was Nassau County's Unsung Hero. Connors also lettered
in lacrosse and winter track. Off the field she was a member of Key
Club and Student Government. She was a tutor at a local community
center and is a professionally certified, level one snowboard instructor.

Before Fairfield: Gailor is a graduate of
Hempfield High School, where she served as
captain of the field hockey team in her senior campaign. She played
all four years for the varsity squad, at both midfield and defense.
During her final season with the Black Knights, Gailor helped her
team to a state championship and garnered a number of awards
including First Team All-League, Second Team All-State, and All-
Academic Team selections. In 2010, she was an Honorable Mention
All-Star and her team finished as state semifinalists. Off the field,
Gailor was a member of the National Honor Society, president of the
Varsity Club and overall chair of her school's Mini-thon.

Before Fairfield: Heely starts her career as a
Stag as one of two goalkeepers on the team.
She has garnered experience at Rocky Point
High School playing varsity for four years, and holding a captain posi-
tion her junior and senior seasons. In 2011, Heely earned a spot on
the
Newsday
All-Long Island First Team as well as the All-County
team. She was a two-time team MVP for the Eagles leading them to
a 14-6 finish in her senior campaign. Actively involved in her school's
extracurriculars, Heely was Vice President of the National Honor
Society, a member of the Science, Math, and Leader's Clubs, as well
as held the position of class president. She finished with a ranking
of third in her class.

Did You Know.....
In her senior year, Heather Gailor helped her school raise over
$124,000 for pediatric cancer during their school’s mini-thon.
Did You Know.....
Casey Heely was Class President both her junior and senior year at
Rocky Point High School.
Did You Know.....
Erin Connors went to Europe with her high school field hockey team
for ten days to train, play, and sightsee in Germany, London, and
the Netherlands.
Did You Know.....
Cally Dougherty teaches fourth grade Sunday school at her church
with her father.
Before Fairfield: Dougherty played for a state
championship at Moorestown High School where
she served as captain. In addition to the championship title in 2011,
the Quakers were also Sectional Champions three years in a row.
Dougherty was a Second Team All-Burlington selection, as well as a
First Team All-Burlington County selection. She also made the
Scholastic League and was named as her team's best defensive play-
er. Dougherty played for Myst field hockey club who were the Festival
Gold Medal winners in 2010. Off the field, Dougherty was a member
of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Environment Club, SAAC,
and a student representative for Moorestown recreation community.
