Meet TheStags
General: Lexi Simon is in her fourth season as a mem-
ber of the Fairfield defensive unit. She has appeared
in a dozen games in a Fairfield uniform over the course of her career.
Off The Field: Simon is majoring in Biology with a pre-med concentration. She
has been a member of the Department of Athletics 3.0 Club in all six of her
semesters at Fairfield and has earned Dean's List honors in three of the last
four semesters. Simon co-founded the JTB Heart Club on campus.
2011:
MAAC All-Academic Team!
Simon saw action in the Stags MAAC wins
over Saint Peter's and Rider.
2010:
MAAC All-Academic Team!
Simon appeared in four games as a sopho-
more, all as a reserve. She took the first shot of her career in the Stags win
over Saint Peter's on October 10.
2009: Simon made six appearances, all as a reserve, during her rookie season.
She made her collegiate debut at San Francisco.
High School: Simon earned three varsity letters at Montgomery High School as
she helped the team to a 56-7 record over the course of her career. She led
the team to the Somerset County Tournament title as a senior as she earned
First-Team All-Skyland Conference, All-Somerset County and All-Area Princeton
Packet accolades. Simon also received First Team all-Area by both the Courier
News and Trenton Times accolades. She helped lead the program to back-to-
back Skyland Conference Delaware East Division Titles in 2007 and 2008 and
was part of the 2006 Somerset County Tournament Championship team.
Personal: Alexa Brianne Simon is the daughter of Tracey and Mark Simon and
has two siblings.

General: Sophia DeVita begins her first season as a
member of the Fairfield goalkeeping unit.
Off The Field: DeVita is planning on a Business major at Fairfield.
High School: DeVita earned four varsity letters for Westfield High School. She
stopped 53 shots as a senior in leading the Blue Devils to a 13-4-1 record.
DeVita was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Sophia Lynn DeVita is the daughter of Lynn LoCastro and Robert
DeVita. She has three siblings, Louis, Adria and Paul. DeVita's cousins, Sarah
and Tommy DeVita, are track and field athletes at the University of Virginia.

General: Chase Burke joins the Stags midfield this sea-
son.
Off The Field: Burke is planning on being a Communication major at Fairfield.
She was a peer mentor and has participated in the Locks of Love program.
High School: Burke earned four varsity letters at Cold Spring Harbor High
School, where she was a team captain in her senior season. She led the team
to a 2011 State Tournament appearance and earned team MVP honors. Burke
also lettered in lacrosse and gymnastics.
Personal: Chase Summer Burke is the daughter of Melissa and Peter Burke,
and has two sisters, Sasha and Kianna. Her father played baseball at the
University of Miami, while her sister Sasha played lacrosse at High Point
University.
